Anchored in Academy Bay

IDG has set their anchor in Academy Bay, Galapagos Islands, Ecuador! Their coordinates are approximately 000.74.915 S 090.30.970 W. Academy Bay is on the island of Santa Cruz, the second largest island in the Galapagos behind Isabela. The Charles Darwin Research Center and the Galapagos National Park Service are located on Santa Cruz which should give everyone on IDG a good starting point to explore the unique wildlife of the islands. While Jon, Jen, Stephen and Guita can fill you in on the details of their passage, this was their first Pacific passage in what will be a 9,000+ mile journey meandering their way through the South Pacific toward Australia. Let's hope they continue to enjoy fair winds and following seas.
